Always use the Lucente wet or damp. Never use it dry. Wet it under the tap before every use and it softens within seconds.
Simple to Use, Every Time
Step 1. Wet It
Run the Lucente under cool or warm water until it is fully saturated. You will feel it soften straight away.
Step 2. Wring It Out
Give it a firm squeeze to remove excess water. For glass and mirrors damp rather than dripping is ideal. For benchtops and heavier jobs a little wetter works perfectly.
Step 3. Wipe
Work in straight lines on glass and mirrors for the best result. On benchtops and larger surfaces any motion works well. For stubborn grease or dried-on residue lay the cloth flat on the spot for 20 to 30 seconds before wiping. It loosens the grime and makes removal much easier.
Step 4. Rinse and Keep Going
Rinse under the tap, wring it out and move to the next surface. The Lucente rinses clean quickly and is ready to go again straight away. One cloth, every room, no stopping to swap.
Step 5. After You Are Done
Rinse thoroughly, wring it out and hang to dry. The cloth will firm up as it dries and that is completely normal. Next time just wet it and it is ready to go again.

Looking After Your Lucente

Everyday After Each Use
Rinse the Lucente thoroughly under the tap, wring it out well, and hang it to dry. It will firm up as it dries that's completely normal. Wet it again next use and it's back to full performance immediately.
Every Few Days
Every few days, or whenever the cloth has had a solid workout, throw it in the machine on a warm cycle with a small amount of mild, fragrance-free liquid detergent. This keeps it fresh, hygienic, and performing at its best. Wash separately from terry cloth towels and other lint-producing fabrics.
When It Gets Really Dirty
For a cloth that's been through a tough cleaning job, soak it first. Dissolve Napisan powder fully in warm water, submerge the cloth completely, and leave it for one to two hours. Once done, put it straight into the machine for a warm wash. The soak loosens deep-down grime that a regular machine wash alone won't fully shift.
When It's Heavily Stained
For stubborn stains, work through these three steps in order. First, spray the affected area with a colour safe stain remover and allow it a few minutes to penetrate the stain. Then soak the cloth in a Napisan solution powder fully dissolved in warm water for one to two hours. Finally, put it through a warm machine wash. That three-step process gives even tough stains the best possible chance of coming out completely.
What to Avoid
⚠ Care Warning: Never use bleach or fabric softener on your Lucente cloth. Both will reduce performance and absorbency over time and will ultimately ruin the cloth.
✕ No fabric softener. It coats the fibres and destroys absorbency.
✕ No chlorine bleach or harsh alkaline cleaners.
✕ Do not put in the dryer, ever.
✕ Don't iron.
✕ Don't soak for longer than two hours in any laundry soaker solution.
✕ Don't wash with terry cloth towels or fluffy fabrics that shed lint.
Drying
Always air dry. Hang it or lay it flat somewhere with good airflow. Never put the Lucente in the dryer. It will firm up as it dries, which is completely normal. Wet it again next use and it's back to full performance.
